Flint Hills Llamas & Organic Farm was established in 2005. The farm is conveniently located 15 minutes east of Wichita, Kansas, situated on 40 acres in the beautiful rolling countryside. Our lifelong passion for animals and protecting the environment are a priority in the day to day activities on the farm. Our personal goal is to provide a home where llamas are well taken care of and share the llama experience with others.

The Flint Hills Farm is a small, full service llama farm, offering breeding services, boarding facilities, registered show, pet, packing, hiking, companion and guard llamas for sale. We keep our herd small to ensure the llamas good health and be responsible in our breeding practices.

People often wonder and ask what can they can do with llamas?. Llamas have many uses such as show, 4-H projects, cart driving, guard animals for small livestock, packing, hiking, wool products, cleaning up pastures, pets and public relations. Llama dung makes a wonderful rich fertilizer for gardens, flower beds, mulching around bushes and trees.

Knitting, felting and weaving enthusiasts enjoy using our beautiful yarns, rovings and raw wool products pictured on our llama products page. Our line of llama products recently expanded with the addition of woven rugs, wall hangings, handcrafted sterling silver llama charms, buttons, magnets, web site design, business card design, hand woven hats and scarves. An assortment of fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, brome hay and bluestem prairie grass hay are available when in season.

Please contact us for addtional information about the llamas and products we currently have for sale and let us know if you have any questions about these amazing animals.
